Hey, Girl! I think the name of the stamp set says it all in this case. I love the fun images and multiple accessories that come with this “Girl”! I think the possibilities with this set are endless. It works for a girl of any age. Of course, while I was creating this card I couldn’t decide on just one color. So I decided to make one in Watermelon Wonder and Cucumber Crush, two of my favorites from the new In-Color collection for this year. They are both so bright and vivid they just make me happy!
Don’t you just love the great images in the Everything Eleanor stamp set. I think the images are so classic and feminine! For today’s card I used one of the flower images. This card would make a great card for any occasion. I added a little Dazzling Diamonds to the centers for a bit of bling.
I just love the Guy Greetings set! There are so many awesome possibilities for the men in our lives. I know I struggle with cards for guys so this set is a real win win for me! I will admit I am really drawn to the car image and it is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. With this card I wanted to push my boundaries a bit and use a color combo I wasn’t to sure about. When the new In Colors came out this year the Tip Top Taupe and Delightful Djon were not on the top of my list but I really like how this card came out!
Today’s card is a bit different, I don’t normally do Baptism cards because there aren’t a lot of stamps from SU that cover this special day. But they’ve come out with a great new set so I just had to give it a go. This card will be one of 10 in my upcoming Card Buffet. Remember to-go kits are always available if you’d like to make this great card at home!
I’m excited to announce that a project I’ve been working on for a while now is finally finshed! I just added a new page to my blog entitled Retired Product. This is where you can find those hard to find stamp sets and such that are no longer available purchase from SU.
To purchase any of the items please email me you wish list and I’ll put together your invoice. Invoices can be paid through PayPal or by check.
Today I am featuring another new technique, double embossing! It’s really fun and easy to do. It give you a completely different look for you card. I used the large dots folder for this card but this technique can be used with just about any folder. I will be teaching this new technique and my upcoming class on Monday, July 20th. If your interested in learning how to make this card just send me an email and I can ad you to the guest list. Remember if you don’t leave near me I can always put together a to-go kit for you!
Todays card was part of our weekly DOStamper Stars challenge and my mother-in-law’s birthday. They just happen to be at the same time.
So first of all Happy Birthday to my wonderful mother-in-law, Kathy. Thanks for being a great mom and an amazing grandma to the whole assorted tribe.
This weeks challenge #140. I was really inspired by the color which exactly matches the new in-color, Watermelon Wonder. I also noticed the cute little flower on the right hand side and thought hmmmmm…… Flower Patch stamp set. Oh, and my mother-in-law loves flowers!
Here’s the challenge image.
Here’s my card for this week.
Here’s another view to showcase the layers and especially the In-Color Blossom!
It’s time for another one of my favorite techniques! FUN Folds!! I just can’t seem to get enough of these cards, how about you? Today’s card features the fun fold technique that I will be teaching at my upcoming Technique Night on Monday, July 20th. If you interested in learning how to make this card just let me know and I can ad you to the guest list.
I also wanted to make a more masculine card with the new Guy Greetings stamp set. Since I’m a bit of a car gal, the car stamp was a perfect choice. The only thing better is if I could find a stamp with a 1957 Ford Fairlane on it! I inherited my mom’s a few years back.
Here’s the front:
and a peek at the inside…..
I’m pretty happy with the way this one turned out. I also challenged myself to use two of the new in-colors that I’m not to excited about, Delightful Djon and Tip Top Taupe. What do you think? Product List
Today’s card features one of my favorite bundles – Flower Patch. I just love the matching framelits and the fun sayings. So I used a sentiment from Flower Patch and paired it with 4 fun bows, using the Bow Builder Punch. I love how easy it is to make a perfect bow every single time with this punch! Even my bow challenged friends (you know who you are, lol) can make a perfect bow with ease!
Once again I couldn’t decide on just one color ~ seems to be a pattern latley. So using the 2014-2016 In Colors I picked out two of my favorites for the bases, Blackberry Bliss and Lost Lagoon.
Here is the Blackberry Bliss version
Here is the Lost Lagoon
I’m really happy with how they both turned out. Which one is your favorite? Product List
I am so excited that Stampin’ Up! carried over the Endless Birthday Wishes photopolymer stamp set into the brand new catalog! I just love this set, it has so many possibilities not only for birthday cards but other celebrations too. I also love that it is in photopolymer to make placement a breeze!
I couldn’t decide on just one color for today’s card so instead I picked two. Beside who doesn’t need more birthday cards! What I love about these two combinations is they can also be used for a guy.
For the first one I started with a Soft Suede base and used the 2014-1015 DSP stack in Tangelo Twist and Hello Honey
For number 2 I used a Basic Gray base and Blackberry Bliss (my favorite!)
